Bahama Blue Granite Headstone – 24 × 24 × 6 in Single Upright
This Bahama Blue granite headstone is crafted from solid natural granite and measures 24 x 24 x 6 in, 5 sides polished. It is supplied by Granite & Paving from our yard in Wylie, Texas, to families, funeral homes and monument dealers across the United States.
This Bahama Blue granite headstone is a 24 × 24 × 6 in single upright with a serpentine top, polished on all five sides and set on a 36 × 12 × 6 in base. It has room for one name, or two names side by side for a couple, with a family name across the top.
Bahama Blue granite has a flowing blue, grey and black pattern, so no two stones look exactly alike. Polished, it has real depth and movement, and white or gold lettering stands out clearly against it. It makes a memorial with quiet character that is different from the usual black or grey.
About this design
A single upright headstone is the traditional memorial for one person. The polished die (the upright stone) sits on a matching granite base and has room for the name, dates, an epitaph and engraved artwork such as a cross, roses or a photo plaque. Engraving and lettering
You can add sandblast engraving to this Bahama Blue granite headstone right on this page. Choose a design for the front, and add the back if you like, type the names, dates and epitaph, and see a live preview on the stone before you order. One price of $1,800 covers the stone, base and engraving on one or both sides. Our designer emails you a proof to approve before anything is engraved.
Cemetery requirements
Every cemetery sets its own rules for memorial size, type and installation, so please check with the cemetery office before ordering. Some only allow flat markers, while others accept uprights and slants up to a set height. You can read more about the history and styles of grave markers in this overview of headstones.

Caring for your memorial
Granite needs very little care. Rinse your headstone with clean water and wipe it with a soft cloth or brush a few times a year. Avoid bleach, acids and wire brushes, which can dull the polish. With this simple routine the stone keeps its shine and the engraving stays crisp for decades.
